About Nephthys: Nephthys's original name or was called the "Lady of the House" or which means that she was kind of like a maid. Her sisters were Isis and Osiris. Her husbands/brothers' name is Seth. Also, she was the mother of Anubis. Nephthys was usually put on coffins or in the background of funerals. Her job as a goddess was to protect the dead like as in Pharaohs or gods and goddesses. As her mother was giving birth, Nephthys was right there to comfort her mother.She is the "Friend of the dead" and worked in the Old Kingdom. She rode the "Boat of the Night" to the underworld to see the dead gods and goddesses. Nephthys did not have any pyramids or temples. Her original name is Nebt-het or everyone pronounces it Nephthys. She had made the book of the "dead" even bigger! In her name Nebt-het she had gotten it from the name Hathor.Her life:
She was born on the 5th day of Epagomenal days which starts August 24th. She was very jealous of her sister Isis and her happy marriage. One night Nephthys was outside weaping.
